MedCapture helps you keep an accurate record of all your medications. Scan a medication label with your camera and MedCapture uses on-device OCR to automatically read the drug name, dosage, and schedule — no internet connection required. All data stays on your device.
How do I add a medication? Tap “Add Medication” on the home screen, then scan your pill bottle or prescription label. MedCapture will automatically extract the medication name, dosage, and schedule for you to confirm and save.
Is my data shared with anyone? No. All data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server.
How do I delete a medication? In list view, swipe left on the item and tap Delete. In tile view, long-press the item and confirm deletion.
How do I switch between list and tile view? Tap the view toggle icon in the top-right corner of the home screen.
How do reminders work? Once a medication’s schedule is saved, MedCapture sends you reminders so you never miss a dose.
I forgot my PIN. What do I do? Deleting and reinstalling the app will reset the PIN. Note: this will also erase all stored medications.
